Pollen Bath
The prickly pear is one of my favorite Texas native plants, and although I had just missed the peak of the blooms by a couple weeks, I still managed to catch a perfect bloom. Just as I pulled out my camera, a bumble bee came to do what it does best. It stuck around for awhile as I waited for the shot. I love the textures in this image.
