Welcome to My Story

While photography has been a part of my life for the majority of my existence, I have taken the plunge in transitioning my hobby into a business. I am passionate about my work, as many of you already know, and I am looking forward to take this leap. Before getting started, let me give you a better insight as to why I began this blog. Beyond wanting to drive more traffic to my website, I have always enjoyed writing. Thanks to receiving my first diary at age 10, I have equally developed a passion for writing as I have photography. When I have issues verbalizing my thoughts or feelings, the pen to paper allows me to remove the distractions and just…be.

When we use the expression, A picture is worth a thousand words, we often are referring to our own words. While I encourage you all to take the time to develop your own interpretation of my work, I also want to take the time to provide a story behind it. I love to travel, hike, and camp—none of which are short of stories full of surprises and adventures. I hope that the stories behind my work will bring forth a stronger connection to my work.

Beyond my storytelling process, you can expect content of how I plan my travels, meal preps, tips for planning on a budget, and hidden locations. I have a strong love for the outdoors and each location I visit affords me the opportunity to dive deep into the geographical and cultural histories of our planet. In return, my journeys motivate me to incorporate a connection with our role in nature through my outdoor portraiture photography—the elements are unpredictable, but these untamed elements adds more to our story! There are never enough lessons worth learning as we travel through our lives, and I’m thrilled to share my experiences of how I operate in my adventures!

Thank you for joining me on my travels throughout Texas (and beyond), the development of my work, and interacting with my stories!
